Hi all--first post here. I'm a novice to think or swim. But I have a lot of programming experience, and am trying to get a feel for think or swim, especially thinkscript. For now I'm strictly experimenting with paper money.
It looks like you can create alerts in 2 ways (someone correct me if I'm wrong): the MarketWatch tab, and Charts-->Studies using thinkscript. The latter allows you to set the alert type (once, per bar, or per tick). But I can't find that feature in the MarketWatch alerts. Is it possible to specify this parameter with the MarketWatch alerts? If so, how? I tried to do so, by clicking MarketWatch-->Study Alerts, then entering the exact same thinkscript code as I did for the Charts-->Studies alerts. But when I entered the code, the "Create Alert" button was not clickable, so I could not proceed. That code by the way is identical to that from the tutorial:
Alert(open > 400, "Open is greater than 400! Current value is" + open, alert.TICK, Sound.Ring); Thanks in advance for any help.
